The Season has hit us! LIKE A TRAIN!

Wow, Hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone just like that! So I hope everyone had a great Turkey day? The only thing I have to say is "CRAP' the neighbors already have their lights up! Those of you who know me appreciate that comment! Ah can we say GRISWALD?? We have a neighbor down the street that now feels compelled to compete with me for the best lights display! I only have one thing to say to that! BRING IT ON BUDDY! Here is a picture of our house last year, this year will be even better, all of you in the Clackams Metro area will know when I turn on my lights because the rest of you will go into BROWN OUT BABY!

Hello all, Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I wanted to drop a line about what I am most thankful for? Here goes, I am thankful for my loving wife Kristine, without her I would not have the two most single greatest things in the world, Jennifer & Jonathan. I am thankful for Life, the opportunity to live it to the fullest, My Mom and Dad (for obvious reasons), ALL of my Family, good or bad they are family and like it or not they are blood! I am thankful we live in a country that we can express our feelings no matter who agrees or disagrees, I am so thankful for everything I have and to list it all would take a long time, SO what are you thankful for? Monday, Monday!

Ok, Quick rundown; Went Saturday to see the new thriller SAW, What an incredible movie, If you liked SE7EN you will love this movie, but get ready for some bloodshed but more so just some very disturbing images. After that intense of a movie we took the kid's ( we did NOT take them to SAW, although the young couple next to us found it necessary to bring a 6 yr old and a 16 month old, what the heck?) to see THE INCREDIBLES, WOW what a great movie for both kids and adults, loved it! So that's it have a great day and try to stay dry...

AHH THE SICKNESS

Well it is truly November, I AM SICK.... Damn cold has got me laid up.... And as all of you know Kristine does Daycare and Jennifer is home for Veterans Day. I think I should have gone to work...........More to come!

BUSH 2004 Ok Everyone, So I wanted to have a blog page dedicated to my rant on how EXTREME AND OUT OF HAND some of the Kerry supporters have been since losing the race for the White House. Ok here goes, I am very happy that this year the voter turnout was incredible! Highest numbers in over 16 years, that is great, I really feel that the reason for the HIGH turnout IS due to the majority of Americans did not want a repeat of the 2000 Election, in which Gore almost (500 votes) won the Election. Now, all of you Kerry supporters I think it is great that all of you have decided on a candidate and stuck with that person, HOWEVER, KNOW THE FACTS! 1>>KERRY VOTED TO RE-ENACT THE DRAFT 2>>KERRY WANTS A HIGHER TAX ON THE RICH 3>>KERRY OPPOSES ABORTION 4>>KERRY OPPOSES GAY MARRIAGE 5>>KERRY VOTED NO TO 80 MILLION WORTH OF FUNDING FOR OUR TROOPS I don't think I need to go on, and on. My point is this, I am sorry your pick for the President lost, I know all of you must be truly upset, BUT DO NOT TAKE OUT your frustration on others. I believe in a free America and Freedom of speech but NOT at the cost of Violence or infringing on other people's rights! If you are going to argue the issues on what KERRY ran for, BRING IT ON....But KNOW THE GODDAMN ISSUES! One more thing, Kerry was very vocal about the unemployment being the worst since the depression! WRONG.....Right now the unemployment rate is LOWER than it was when Bill Clinton was in office. SO, DO NOT BLOG ME TO DEATH WITH KERRY ISM's. He Lost. He will NOT be back Neither will Hillary ( notice how her and Billy Bob were NON existent) And Michael Moore can KISS MY BIG RED WHITE AND BLUE ASS.........

Forgive Me please....

O.K. Gang, It has been almost a Month since I last posted, please forgive me.... OK Back in August Kristine and I celebrated 9 glorious years of Marriage, I know most of you out there are like Uh SO WHAT! But to me that is pretty fantastic, Kristine is a wonderful woman and I have truly been blessed to have her in my life, Not to mention without her I would not have the 2 greatest things ever, MY KIDS! So with that we went camping in Waldport the last 5 day's of August, FANTASTIC, weather could not have been better, we camped at the KOA right on the bay by the 101 bridge going into Waldport. Dog's and Kid's really enjoyed playing on the beach and in the Water. We say a Saw nosed Skate! This was really impressive, albeit DEAD but pretty cool. So to the more current NEWS!!!! On Wednesday Sept. 8th, Kristine and I crossed the bridge to being true Adult's, We took Jennifer to her first Concert, YEP, LIZZIE FREAKIN MCGUIRE, Hillary Duff to be more specific, I have to say (please don't hunt me down and shoot me) not a bad show, I give her a TON of credit, she sings LIVE and her band plays LIVE and she really has a good voice and stage presence, Pretty impressive for a girl who is only 16!!!! Jennifer truly had a great time, as did Kristine and I, we could have done without the hundreds of screaming 4-16 year olds, yes you read correctly 4! I think this was a bit too young, If Jennifer were any older we would NOT have taken her, but she really enjoys her music, and YES I have to say I really do like the image, Not so Brittney! WHEW! Bored yet?? Lastly this last Saturday, Sept. 11th was Bitter sweet, we will alway's remember this date as a HORRIBLE day in our History, (insert moment of silence for those who have suffered this great tragedy) The sweet part is Van Halen tickets went on sale at 10 am.... And you bet your ass I was on the computer at 945am...... I was able to get tickets for Section 103 (next to the stage) row c seats 5 & 6..... Awesome cant wait... That's it...Have a great day! So it has been VERY HOT this summer and as all of you know I have been fighting a LOSING battle with the old hairline, So last night after work I decided it was time for a change. So I pulled out the clippers and BAM! Or should I say OUCH! I have joined the ranks of TELLY BABY! YES I have officially shaved my head and am as bald as bald can be. Kinda weird though, I need to see if mom & dad ever put my head in a vice though because I have one F'd up head! It is full of wrinkles and creases like you wouldn't believe, poor Jennifer yelled at me, threw a stuffed animal at me and said I was trying to HUMILIATE her in front of her friends! Wow all this because I was HOT! Oh well I will post pictures on our WEBSITE in a few minutes! Be afraid, very afraid! Bye....

Rockin' Round' the Block!

Hey, Kristine & I have been fortunate enough to have found a GREAT VW club called "Absolutely Volkswagen" In Portland. Great bunch of people. We went to a car cruise in this past Saturday in Gresham, they closed down a 4-5 block radius on Main St. Had a great time seeing all the OLDIES! There were 5 VW's from the club, a 52'bug, 57'bug, 62'bug, and My 62 along with a 66' slit window Bus. So the exciting part was at the end of the day, Trophy time, Now mind you I just got Michelle from Regina last month, But she is in FINE shape. So they read off a few names and handed out a few other trophy's to some of the guys in the club, then OUTTA NO WHERE My name was called for BEST DAILY DRIVER, I turned to Kristine and said "HOLY CRAP, NO WAY!" Its been a while

Hey all it has been a L-O-N-G time, HMMMMM So what is new you ask? Well plenty. This week Jennifer is having the time of her life in ZOO Camp, she is learning about all of the wonderful things that happen at the ZOO. Last Friday we went to the OMSI exhibit of the Titanic, I highly recommend going to see this before it is gone, especially the OMNI Max feature TITANICA. AWESOME! Kristine and I also just joined a Volkswagen club (yup you read correctly), this is so we can show off my 62 and someday hopefully soon Kristine's 58! You can see the pictures on our WEBSITE. MONDAY

Hello all, Well as you can see I still have yet to update the PAULSEN Website; Patience young grasshopper! It will happen. At this very moment Kristine and the kids are having a great time! Despite being with her mom! Just kidding, Those who truly know me know I am JUST KIDDING! They are in San Fran. Wish I was there. So good weekend, with exception of running out of gas on the Kawasaki Z1 that pop's gave me. 2 mile trek back to mom and dad's, needless to say I dad not push the bike, then burned my leg on the tailpipe, OUCH! That'll leave a mark, Did I mention that I DO KNOW HOW TO RIDE A MOTORCYCLE?? Well I do.....Dogs got a little freaked out on the 4th, I was going to give them some doggie downers but I opted to take them myself! HAHAHA! Again Kidding. So BORING day Michael

TGI-FRIDAY!

So Happy Freakin' Friday. Anyone know who came up with the term TGIFriday????? Some one who had entirely too much time, that's who. But he or she was RIGHT ON! Kristine and The kids are going out of town for a week and a day. GOD HELP ME! I am going to miss them soo much. I know they will have a great time, they are going to California, Bay area. I will be working on the NEW and IMPROVED PAULSEN family website so don't say I didn't warn you, ITS gonna be very cool. I want to wish everyone a SAFE AND HAPPY 4TH OF J-U-L-Y!!!
