WRONG!
I had this Email sent to me, What a sick feeling.
This particular briefcase bomb was captured in Pakistan. This briefcase bomb is like the ones used in the Madrid train station, which were detonated by cell phone. The phone sends a charge to the blasting cap that causes the explosives in the cylinders to detonate. The nails and bolts wrapped in plastic act as shrapnel once the explosion takes place, which maximizes the amount of injury and death. Although briefcases are examined at the entry points of many military posts, this type of bomb can be used just about anywhere else, making it particularly deadly in a terrorist operation aimed at civilian targets. The person who plants the device simply makes a call to the cell phone number from a safe distance which detonates the device.
